Down Payment
Before we begin working on your custom furniture, a down payment of 50% is required to secure your order. Please note that this down payment is non-refundable once the work has started. This ensures that we can allocate the necessary resources and time to craft your unique piece of furniture with the attention to detail it deserves. We appreciate your understanding and are excited to bring your vision to life!
At WoodLab of New York, we take great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our products, which is why we offer a 6 month warranty on all tables we build in full, including the installation of legs. This warranty ensures that your table is free from defects in materials or workmanship, providing peace of mind with your purchase. However, it’s important to understand the specific conditions of this warranty to avoid any misunderstandings.
Modifications and Customization:
Any alterations made to the table, such as refinishing the slab, changing the finish, or modifying the base after the purchase, will void the warranty. These modifications can affect the table’s structural integrity and overall finish, which is why we cannot guarantee the product’s durability or appearance once any changes are made outside of our original build. Customizations done by outside sources can introduce risks that are beyond our control, potentially leading to issues like cracking, discoloration, or improper fitting of the components.
Slab-Only Sales:
Additionally, slabs sold without any assembly or leg installation are not covered by this warranty. While we carefully select and prepare our slabs, the lack of proper mounting or base support can lead to warping or cracking over time. As slabs are raw materials, they require proper care and installation, and our warranty does not extend to them unless they are fully assembled into a table.
By purchasing a table directly from WoodLab of New York, you’re ensured high-quality craftsmanship, but we encourage you to follow our care and maintenance instructions and avoid making alterations that could compromise the product’s quality. Should you have any questions regarding the warranty or need further clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out to us for assistance.
